SQURO Privacy Policy & Platform Terms of Use

Effective Date: 01 September 2026

Welcome to SQURO, a learning and program management platform provided by Blue Ocean Growth Partners Private Limited. (“SQURO”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

SQURO is used by organizations such as companies, educational institutions, CSR organizations and other program operators (“Tenant”) to manage their learners, courses and learning programs.

By accessing or using SQURO, you agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy.

1. SQURO, Tenant and Learner Roles

Your SQURO learner record is created and managed in connection with the Tenant whose program you participate in. The Tenant determines the learner and program information required for its program. SQURO provides the technology platform and processes and hosts information as necessary to provide and support the service. Learners should contact their Tenant for program-specific questions or requirements.

2. Information We Process

Depending upon the requirements of your Tenant and the program in which you participate, SQURO may process:

Personal and Profile Information: Name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, learner/person identifiers and optional government-issued learning licence information.

Identity and Compliance Documents: Where required by the Tenant, this may include photograph, signature, PAN, Aadhaar, domicile certificate, school leaving certificate and other identity, eligibility or compliance-related documents.

Learning and Program Records: This may include enrolment information, course participation, learning activity and progress, assessments and results, course completion and certificates.

Not every Tenant or program requires every type of information listed above.

3. Why We Process Information

Learner information is processed to:

1. Provide and operate learning programs, including authentication, enrolment, course access, assessments, progress tracking and certification.

2. Meet Tenant program and compliance requirements, including learner records and supporting documents required for CSR, educational, corporate or other programs.

3. Maintain platform security and administration, including account security, authorized access and necessary operational records.

SQURO does not sell learner personal information or use learner information for advertising or marketing.

4. How Information Is Shared and Accessed

Learner information is available to the relevant Tenant and its authorized users where required for operating and administering the applicable program. SQURO processes learner information for providing, maintaining and supporting the platform. Access by SQURO personnel is restricted to authorized purposes. Information may also be processed by service providers used to operate the platform, such as hosting or communication infrastructure, where necessary to provide the service.

SQURO does not sell learner personal information to third parties.

5. Minors and Parental/Guardian Consent

SQURO may be used for programs involving learners below 18 years of age. Where parental or guardian consent is required, the Tenant is responsible for obtaining the required consent before enabling the learner’s participation. SQURO may maintain confirmation that such consent has been obtained, including the confirmation date and the authorized person who recorded the confirmation.

6. Data Security

SQURO uses appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect learner information and restrict access to authorized users. Data transmitted between the SQURO mobile application and SQURO services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials and PIN confidential and should report suspected unauthorized access to their Tenant.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Learner information is retained according to the applicable Tenant’s program, contractual, statutory or compliance requirements. Learners may request deletion of their information. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized where applicable. Certain information may need to be retained where legitimately required for program, contractual, statutory, regulatory, audit or compliance purposes. Where a deletion request cannot be fully fulfilled because of such a requirement, the applicable Tenant may retain the necessary information and provide the learner with the relevant reason.

8. Learner Rights

Subject to applicable program and legal requirements, learners may:

  • Access and review their information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of eligible information.

Requests may be handled through SQURO and/or the applicable Tenant depending upon the nature of the information and the Tenant’s program requirements.

9. Course Content and Acceptable Use

Course materials and program content available through SQURO are uploaded and managed by the applicable Tenant or its authorized users. Tenants must ensure that content uploaded or published through SQURO is lawful and that they possess the necessary ownership, licences, permissions or other rights required to use such content. Illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually inappropriate, infringing or otherwise objectionable content is prohibited. Users may report inappropriate, objectionable or potentially infringing content through the reporting facility provided in SQURO. Reported content may be reviewed and removed or unpublished where appropriate.

10. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Use SQURO only for lawful and authorized purposes.
  • Provide accurate information where requested.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Not attempt to misuse, interfere with, tamper with or gain unauthorized access to SQURO.
  • Not misuse or unlawfully distribute information or content accessed through the platform.

11. Changes to this Policy

SQURO may update this Privacy Policy and Platform Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable requirements or data-handling practices. The current version and its effective date will be made available through SQURO.
